i just love salad! whether it's caesar, asian or waldorf, i just can't get enough of it! anyway, i found lately that im getting too boring when it comes to concocting my own dressing and vinaigrette. for the longest time i was dependent on store-bought dressings and vinaigrettes you can get from grocery stores so it wasn't until recently that i experimented with my own.

still, i find them boring since it's usually just olive oil, vinegar, a little salt and pepper and lime juice and that's it. i know i can easily get recipes online but i'd like to know some of the best that you've tried. :)

it's basically mixing together olive oil, shrimp, spinach, olive oil, a little chili and later adding a little shrimp stock. once the whole mixture simmers, you can simply pour the sauce to fettuccini. bon appetit.

People ask me if it is difficult being a vegetarian in a place so well-known as a seafood mecca. No, it really isn't; The Pacific Northwest is also a bountiful provider of all kinds of produce; apples, broccoli, grapes, garlic, and of course the gorgeous mushroom are grown to a pinnacle of taste here. Potatoes, apples, onions, and peaches come from not far away. Well, I've just about listed all my favorite foods to prepare and eat. I must end this before the munchies strike!

I am a huge fan of LAZY cooking methods. I usually need to get my boys fed fast, so I'm always looking for shortcuts.

One of the best tips I've ever learned is that you don't have to precook lasagna noodles. There are plenty of recipes that have enough liquid that precooking the noodles is not required. If you want to adapt an old recipe, just make it as usual and add 3/4 cup of water to the lasagna covering well before baking.

I read a lot of reviews before i bought it and it has a good reputation. It took me a while to get all my recipes entered. My favorite thing about the software is that you can calculate the cost of the recipe or nutritional data.

I have experimented in the past with using online software, but most of the online programs require a monthly membership fee if you want to use the advanced features. Is anyone on this forum usng an online tool, or a software that you recommend?

Built into one wall, she had a double oven, and the stovetop was on another counter. Thoughts?

Thank goodness I didn't already have a food processor, because I'd have probably sold it. I can crush/chop ice and herbs, I can make baby food, I can microwave just about anything once I chop it. The magic bullet is *so* easy to use, and does a great job. For all the extras I got for the price, I'd say it's a great deal, and a wonderful buy. Especially if you have babies and you want to make your own baby food.
